Ingrid wants to stop, so we do.

My problem is once I start driving (or riding), I want to keep going.  And going.

As much as I want to stop and ‘smell the roses’, I seldom do.  Ingrid has taught me the value of stopping to see what’s there.

We pull off the highway that winds its way through Glacier National Park, Montana, and Ingrid heads for the Avalanche Trail sign.  It’s a hot day and when we enter the trail, the tall trees provide cool, welcome shade.  The trail is an easy one.  That’s good.  I’m lazy.

While Ingrid is turning over rocks and looking at flowers, I’m looking for interesting photos.  We find this gorgeous, colourful rock face dripping with water and covered with different colour (I presume) mosses.
