2015 Subaru WRX

Sport sedan fans rejoice!  Subaru has just revealed at the LA Auto Show the 2015 edition of company’s flagship WRX, high performance, all-wheel-drive sedan.

Subaru says the new WRX sports a stiffer chassis and body, new engine and new transmission choices, including a new CVT transmission dubbed ‘Sport Lineatronic’.  Subaru says the new CVT in ‘Sport Sharp’ (S#) mode switches to 8-speed shifting.

There are many changes, but some that stand out include increased head and shoulder room, larger rear door openings, larger trunk, LED headlights, and lighter 17-in. wheels.

Subaru fans (including me) will be chomping at the bit to see the new WRX in the metal.

Here are the major specs that Subaru has provided.
