It’s unseasonably warm today, at 20-degrees C this afternoon.

Of course, I had to get out on the new RT, even if it was for just a short, 1-1/2 hour ride.

The RT has just turned 9,325 km on the clocks as I rolled up the driveway.

The OEM Michelin Pilot Road 4 GTs are holding up very well.  I like these tires a lot, and they give tremendous rider confidence in the rain, but I’ve noticed lately the front 120/70ZR-17 tire is starting to ‘howl’ slightly when the bike’s cranked over in turns.

It’s not bad though, unlike the factory tire on my 2003 Honda ST1300A.  When that tire started wearing, it yowled like tomcat stuck with a knife.
