A friend of mine moved residences and left behind a can of Fuller Fullpower Shoe Clean.

I don’t know anything about the produce, where she got it, or if it is even still available.

But being adventurous, I grabbed my trust Aerostich Combat Lite Touring Boots and decided to use the product to clean the grit and grime accumulated from a 4-day, 2500 kilometre weekend ride.

The Fuller can is a 170g (6.0 oz) aerosol spray can.

The can’s product information says its “Rich foam cleans all types of shoes” and “Works great on all shoe fabrics.”

“Removes tough dirt, mud, grass stains, food spills, grease, oil and more.”

The directions are simple.  Shake the can, spray the foam on to the boot, scrub with a soft brush, wipe clean with a damp cloth.

I didn’t read the instructions.  I simply shook the can, sprayed the foam onto the boot, and wiped it clean with a dry cloth.  Easy peasy.  It worked just fine.

A quick search on Google turned up this link.  It appears Fullpower Shoe Clean is still in production and available.
