I don’t know about you, but no matter what bike I own, my eyes are always roaming, looking to see what new, hot bike I’d like to bring home and park in my garage.

Sure, I’ve had my 2014 BMW R1200RTW for just 12 months now, and I love this bike.  Still, the allure of adding just one more bike to the collection is always at the back of my mind.

I just ran across this short video test undertaken by 1000PS, an Austrian website who’s just track tested an outstanding selection of the top adventure enduro motorcycles on the planet:

  • Aprilia Capo Nord Rally
  • BMW R1200GS
  • BMW S1000XR
  • Ducati Multistrada
  • Honda Crossrunner 800 (not available in Canada or the United States)
  • Honda NC750X
  • Kawasaki Versys 1000
  • MV Agusta Tursimo Veloce 800
  • Suzuki V-Strom 1000
  • Triumph Tiger 800 XRX
  • Yamaha MT-09 Tracer (FJ-09 in Canada and the United States)
  • Yamaha Super Tenere

How did the bikes rate?

  • Aprilia Capo Nord Rally – it’s comfortable!

There are no losers here.  The ‘touring enduro’ class is comprised of bikes that you could easily tour on from Vancouver to St. John’s, NL and explore any dirt trail you might find along the way.
