Cancelling BeIN Sports channel – as 2017 motorcycle racing season ends

The MotoGP and World Superbike motorcycle racing seasons are over; time to cancel BeIN Sports Channel

I just cancelled my subscription to BeIN Sports, the only channel available to me that is broadcasting MotoGP and World Superbike motorcycle racing.

Cancelling the channel with my cable tv provider Telus was painful.  I tried removing the channel in my account online using my iPad.  Fail.

Next I tried removing the channel by using my desktop computer.  Fail.

Eventually, I had to contact Telus using online chat messaging, and “Arlene” helped me remove the channel promptly.

Our household will save $15.00 Cdn per month (plus $00.75 GST) over the next couple of months, enough for a very nice lunch somewhere!  :)

I’ll re-subscribe to BeIN Sports next Spring when the first race of the 2018 MotoGP racing season starts in Qatar (March 18) and first World SBK race is in Australia (February 23.)
